About
Tanglewood Design is the small studio of Jaysa McLinn, based in San Diego. The work moves between screen and paper: websites and templates on one side, digitized artwork turned into stationery and editorial pieces on the other, all of it built to feel considered rather than decorated.
Websites are built on Squarespace, Wix, and Canva; templates cover resumes, portfolios, proposals, and fliers; and original artwork, yours or a client’s, is digitized and turned into invitations, menus, and more.
Off the clock: stencil work, home improvement projects, and tablescapes.
@tanglewood_designWhen I'm not designing, I'm designing.
I've always loved to create. There's something special about finding a creative outlet that makes you completely lose track of time, and for me, that's design.
It started about seven years ago with an outdated linoleum floor and a stencil. Then came another floor. And another. Eventually, I moved on to walls: one wall, then another. Each project has challenged me in a different way, but that's part of what I love about it. There's nothing quite like stepping back, looking at something I created with my own hands, and smiling.
That same feeling is what I want to bring to the people I work with.
I'm not here to tell you what your vision should be. I'm here to listen, understand what you love, and help bring your vision, your dream, to life.
